I’ve spent years running with no major improvements. I also have a busy schedule and limited time and expertise to understand what is the best program for me. Noa took the guesswork out of my workouts. In only months, I saw a drastic improvement in my times with less effort. Since I began working with Performance Training, I have become a more healthy and efficient runner and have more fun doing it. I surpassed my initial goals and am excited for my new… Faster goals! ~Heather Van-Meter, runner.
Noa and I have built a partnership over the last four years that helps me grow as an athlete while I balance work, life, and sport. She takes the time to get to know her athletes and gives us the information and guidance we need to develop. Her nutrition and training expertise help me learn to make smart decisions and give me the tools I need to train smart and race well. ~Kate W. Bike fit
As an age group athlete, I totally believe that if you are putting in 5-7 hours in the saddle training you had better have the right fit. And that’s exactly what Noa gave me. I had other fits which were OK but none as comfortable. I wanted a very aggressive position but I also wanted it to be scientific and not just plumb lines and the naked eye assessing the position. Well, that’s exactly what I got. Not only did Noa provide loads of feedback from her observation but it was backed up by the Retul. Very impressive. The results for me are that I can run off the bike with no discomfort and never during the ride do my legs or back hurt. A totally awesome fit. Thanks Noa!! ~Daphen Doblo-Walsh, Ironman triathlete
This one was the most precise and structured bike fittings that I have ever had – Noa uses a very scientific approach that eliminates much of the guesswork of traditional bike fitting techniques. Not only did she correct my overall bike position but she was able to identify that my left tibia was 10mm shorter than the other and I was able to apply this information to my run. In short I gained speed and efficiency for “free” ~Rob Heuchert, Ironman triathlete
I’ve had a number of chronic injuries over the years that have perplexed many a bike fitter. Noa’s use of the Retul 3D system, her extensive bike fitting experience and knowledge of anatomy resulted in the most successful bike fitting I’ve ever had. Noa addresses individual strength and muscle imbalances, as well as limitations caused by current or previous injuries to improve your overall position and comfort while riding. As a result, I have become stronger on the bike and I am much more comfortable on longer (3+ hour) rides. She also offers suggestions on exercises and stretches to increase core strength and overcome muscle imbalances, advice on equipment choices, and strongly encourages feedback following the bike fitting appointment ~Laura Kennedy, Ironman triathlete
Training Camps
Noa’s Penticton training camp was a highlight of my first Ironman journey. I was a little apprehensive about staying in a house full of young, fast triathletes and worried about how I was going to keep up in the training sessions. I quickly realized that everyone was there to have fun and to support each other to reach their individual goals. The training days were tough, but geared to each person’s ability and needs. The group talks on things like nutrition, race strategy and imagery were great because we learned from Noa, as well as the more experienced athletes. No dumb questions!
We spent lots of training time on the Ironman Canada course so on race day there were no surprises. I had an awesome race experience – thanks Noa! ~Judy Thompson, 2009 Ironman Canada Finisher
Noa’s Penticton training camp was both challenging and fun! Noa created an atmosphere that kept me motivated throughout the long grueling workouts. The nightly seminars helped me formulate my race strategy for ironman. I found Noa’s education in sports nutrition particularly useful as I have a history of stomach issues during races. The individualized schedules were well thought out based on each athlete’s ability, experience, and goal races. I would recommend this camp to anyone trying to step up a level in their fitness and triathlon performance. ~Jane McCurdy. 3 time Ironman finisher, Including Ironman Hawaii
Video Analysis
I have been running for 10 years and decided to get a video analysis done to see if I could improve my form. My results with Noa were outstanding. Immediately after the video taping session Noa was able to pin point a deficiency in my stride and made a simple recommendation that has transformed my running. I am now able to do my long training runs with much less fatigue and feel great at the finish. Noa is very insightful and knowledgeable and I would recommend her to anyone looking to improve their athletic performance! ~Leigh Lundgren - Apex Runners
